Rosanne Harrigan, EdD, CPNP, APRN-Rx is Chair of the department and former dean of the school of nursing. She is a pediatric nurse practitioner and practices energy medicine and Holistic Pediatrics.

Noelani Apau, MD is board certified in Pediatrics and practices Holistic Pediatrics. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Elizabeth Chen-Christenson, MD, L.Ac, ABHM, FACP, FAAMA is board certified in Family Practice, Pathology and Holistic medicine. She is also a licensed acupuncturist and certified in harp therapy and is an accomplished music therapist.

Dr. Mian Long, L.Ac. is nationally certified in China in conventional medicine and Chinese medicine. She is licensed in acupuncture. She has extensive knowledge of and conducted research with traditional Chinese herbs

Terry Shintani, MD, MPH, is the Associate Chair of the department and in charge of the clinical practice. He is a Harvard-trained nutritionist and board certified in Preventive Medicine. He is a member of the National Advisory Board of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine.

Amy Brown, PhD, RD is an accomplished researcher in the field of nutrition therapy and herbal medicine. She is an author of a nutrition textbook used by numerous universities, and a member of the American Dietetic Association.

How to Find Us

We are located at the Kakaako Campus of the John A. Burns School of Medicine at 651 Ilalo St. Honolulu, HI. This is parallel to Ala Moana Blvd, one block towards the ocean next to Keawe St. behind the “Gold Bond” building.

We are in the single-story wing on the ewa-makai (south-west) part of the campus, just behind the ocean end of the Hawaiian herbal gardens. There are three sets of double-doors as you face the building from the center of campus. Through the right-hand set of double doors, you will find us at the Wellness Center and Integrative Medicine Clinic.

Parking can be found on Ilalo St (metered) or in the Keawe St. Parking Lot ($3.00).
